25-year-old Kamohelo Matsemela was assisting her mother in her events company when she applied for the learnership programme.
“My journey started at Ascendis Medical on the switchboard. After a month, I joined the Pharma team to assist t John Backman the head of strategy & new business development. I was been supporting him on projects, pipeline, strategy, backlog, IMS Data research among other duties.
Through John’s exceptional mentorship, I have gained more than just work experience. I have learned important life skills like patience, how to make decisions and manage my time effectively”
Kamohelo will be continuing her journey as an administrative assistant on the Pharma team
