Thabisa Wessie, 36 years old, was unemployed but trying to earn a living selling food at a primary school near his home. He applied for the YES programme because he believed that YES would open the doors to a better life. He joined the programme as a runner on at The Scientific Group. Thabisa will be joining the Surgical Innovations team as a Junior Sales Representative.

To youth thinking about applying for an internship, I would tell them to go for it. It will give them exposure and skills that will benefit you in any job you get later in life”
